Thanks to everyone for making the 2015 Dan Navarro house concert a big success!

This was the largest turnout (~110) we've had since Dan starting doing this show in 2009 so a special thanks to everyone who could attend. While the temperature was a little cooler than normal, the environment was as warm as ever with the great performance by Dan Navarro, Dan Schwartz and Doan Roessler.

A big thanks to all who helped with the show, to those who could attend, and to everyone who helped spread the word. We enjoyed seeing old friends, meeting everyone who was here for the first time and we look forward to next year.

For more than 20 years, Dan Navarro has written, recorded and toured to a fiercely loyal, energetic national audience. Starting his career as a songwriter, his songs have been covered by Pat Benatar (The Top Five "We Belong"), the Bangles, Dave Edmunds, The Tempatations, Dionne Warwick and a host of others.

Best known for his long partnership in the acoustic folk-roots duo Lowen & Navarro, Dan has recorded and toured solo since June 2009 after Eric Lowen's retirement due to the progression of his affliction with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease). Eric ended his battle with ALS on March 23, 2012.

Dan's solo performances are marked by the same hallmarks as his work with Lowen & Navarro — songs of richlor: transparent; insight and experience, delivered straight-up, with honesty, grace and heart, in his moving and expressive baritone voice.

If you're planning to attend, here's how we do this ...

Unfortunately we are cancelling the August 17th show with Clarence Bucaro due to scheduling problems. While this doesn't happen often, please understand that for this to make financial sense for the artitsts that we bring in, they need to have enough shows in the area to make the trip and in this case, Clarence had some cancellations that he was having trouble replacing. 

Since we only host shows when the weather is nice (so we can be outside), we'll be looking to try and reschedule him next year. In the meantime, check out Clarence's music at http://clarencebucaro.com/ (where you can also keep an eye on his tour dates in case he makes it to this area over the winter).

As we approach summer, it's time to mark your calendars for 2014. We have two shows on the schedule for this summer/fall so invite your friends and plan on attending as both are sure to be a great time!
