For more than 20 years, Dan Navarro has written, recorded and toured to a fiercely loyal, energetic national audience. Starting his career as a songwriter, his songs have been covered by Pat Benatar (The Top Five "We Belong"), the Bangles, Dave Edmunds, The Tempatations, Dionne Warwick and a host of others.
Best known for his long partnership in the acoustic folk-roots duo Lowen & Navarro, Dan has recorded and toured solo since June 2009 after Eric Lowen's retirement due to the progression of his affliction with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease). Eric ended his battle with ALS on March 23, 2012.
Dan's solo performances are marked by the same hallmarks as his work with Lowen & Navarro — songs of richlor: transparent; insight and experience, delivered straight-up, with honesty, grace and heart, in his moving and expressive baritone voice.

If you're planning to attend, here's how we do this ...
We host house concerts to provide our friends (and their friends) an opportunity to come out and enjoy a good show in a comfortable and personal setting. We do this for fun and do not make money on these shows, so we rely on the generosity of our guests to help cover the cost of bringing in the artists and putting on the shows.
The shows are held rain or shine (we have a "party tent") so if you can let us know ahead of time that you will be attending you will be helping us out tremendously in our planning. We'd also highly encourage you to invite as many friends as you can!
So ... if you and your friends are planning on attending, just send us an email with the number of people in your party (with names if possible) and then send us a check to reserve your spot. Optionally, you can let us know you are attending on the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/378410735676438/).
As far as the show goes ...
We want everyone to have time to relax and visit before and after the concert we ask that everyone bring "finger food" to share and their own beverage to drink. We plan on having either the grills and/or the fryers going for hot appetizers to feast on, so if everyone brings a little food, there should plenty to eat. We will also set up a wine tasting table and will be sharing some of the “Camp Dave Winery” vintages so if you'd interested, bring your own favorite bottle to share!
