Summer is here (sort of) and it's time to start planning for the house concerts at our place so here's what's up for 2013!
We have two shows on the schedule for this summer/fall so mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan on attending as both are sure to be a great time!
First up is a fundraiser for the youth at Christ Lutheran Church (Faribault) scheduled for Sunday, July 14th. This house concert is a way to help raise money for the youth group's annual mission trip. This year we will again be featuring the BeeKays, an old time country/rock family band playing a little bit of everything from country favorites, bluegrass and a bit of rock and roll.
The suggested donation is $5 for the show and there will be other opportunities at the show to give money to this good cause. The doors will open at 1:00 and the show will start at 2:00 and last until 4:00.
Then, this fall, our 9th Annual Party and House Concert is on the schedule for Sunday, September 15th. Dan Navarro will be returning for the 5th time and we expect that he'll have is new album out so plan on coming! We are starting the party at 2:30 with the show starting about an hour later at 3:30. The suggested donation for tickets is $20 and all of that money goes to the artists so come and enjoy some live music while supporting these very talented musicians.

We'd love to have you and your friends attend these shows so please share this info with anyone you think would enjoy a night of food, music, and fun (with emphasis on fun.)
For those who haven't had the chance to enjoy one of our shows, we always plan on being outside in the backyard, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, we hold the show in a large party tent. That means you can plan on attending now and know that you'll have a good time regardless of the weather.
We will have more details for the BeeKays show on our website in the middle of June and the Dan Navarro show by the begining of August.
