Another year in the books and we couldn't do it without all of you!

Once again a little afternoon rain shower made for a cozy setting under the awning with Dawn Beyer at our first show. Three weeks later, a gorgeous September evening made for an entertaining night of music with Dan Navarro (and Dan Schwartz). Both were wonderful shows and we hope you enjoyed them.

We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting those of you who were here for the first time. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Our sincerest thanks go out to all who set up, cooked, managed the sound, cleaned up and tore down! Your help is what makes these house concerts great.

This show will feature Dawn Beyer, a singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, TN who founded an independent artist group called The Real Nashville. Dawn has built an online audience that has been following and listening to her music by live-streaming acoustic performances. Through the online reach, she has met and been able to sing for people all over the country in private events. Her smooth vocals bring you in while her strong songwriting skills keep you held in a sweet moment or memory.

We think you will really enjoy her original style with roots in traditional country music so come join us!

For over 30 years, Dan Navarro has written, sung, played and acted his way through a rich and varied career and he is coming to perform at our house for the 11th time on Friday September 15th! This will be his ninth straight time here as a solo artist and his eleventh total (he had two earlier performaces here with Lowen & Navarro).

Dan started his career as a songwriter, most often with Eric Lowen, for artists as diverse as Pat Benatar (the Grammy-nominated “We Belong”) , The Bangles, Jackson Browne, Keb’ Mo’, Dave Edmunds, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, Dutch superstar Marco Borsato, The Triplets, Austin outlaw legend Rusty Weir and many more.

Dan's solo performances are marked by songs rich with insight and experience, delivered straight-up, with honesty, grace and heart, in his moving and expressive baritone voice. It will be an evening to be remembered! We hope that you will take this opportunity to be a part of something special at our house this September.

This was the largest turnout (~110) we've had since Dan starting doing this show in 2009 so a special thanks to everyone who could attend. While the temperature was a little cooler than normal, the environment was as warm as ever with the great performance by Dan Navarro, Dan Schwartz and Doan Roessler.

A big thanks to all who helped with the show, to those who could attend, and to everyone who helped spread the word. We enjoyed seeing old friends, meeting everyone who was here for the first time and we look forward to next year.
